  • Uses - Suitable for wide variety of uses including light construction, furniture, door and window frames, paneling, partition, utility flooring, mouldings, fancy doors, boat construction, veneer and plywood.
  • Colour - Sapwood is not clearly defined from the which is heartwood medium to deep red to deep red-brown, reddish brown with a distinctive camphoric smell.
  • Texture - is moderately coarse and even.
  • Strength group - Hardwood is in SG5 strength group.
  • Air Density - 560- 865 kg/m3
  • Durability - Moderately Durable
  • Plaining - Easy
  • Nailing - Good
  • Gluing - Easy
  • Finishing - Easy

    • Kapur Sawl

  • Uses - Suitable for heavy and medium construction, heavy-duty flooring beams, joists, rafters, furniture, door and window frames, tool handles, pallets, boxes and crates.
  • Colour - Sapwood is well defined and yellowish brown. The heartwood is reddish brown with a distinctive camphoric smell.
  • Texture - is moderately coarse and even.
  • Strength group - Hardwood is in SG4 strength group.
  • Air Density - 575- 815 kg/m3
  • Durability - Moderately Durable
  • Plaining - Easy
  • Nailing - Easy
  • Gluing - Slightly difficult
  • Finishing - Easy
